About Me

Hello & Welcome to Let’s Talk Books with PGB!

I have loved reading since I was a child. Baba would get me Champak, a weekly or fortnightly magazine for kids which featured short stories, poetry and the likes. I also read Panchatantra and Tinkle and these would be the base of my life long love of books. I slowly graduated to the euro-centric mode of reading when I was introduced to the world of Enid Blyton in my early school years. This was followed by Nancy Drew books, Hardy Boy books and then the long summer breaks led me to read classics! I have loved them since then. My first classic was an abridged version of The Count of Monte Cristo which was followed by Pride and Prejudice and both of them hold a very special place in my heart. Throughout my college years I have lived more or less a bookworm life. Books dictated my life and added so much value to the meaning of life.

You can call me a book enthusiast, an avid book lover, craft hobbyist, professionally an educator, but I am still the book worm that I was when I was ten. I started this blog to finally pen down the numerous thoughts and bookish conversations that till now I have had with my friends. I am now actively looking forward to talk and hold bookish conversations with people.

I have an active book dedicated Instagram account too, if you’d like to follow (https://www.instagram.com/letstalkbookswithpgb/).

I enjoy well written, lyrical character driven narratives and these are some of the genres that I enjoy:
